Small cozy coffee delicious cakes

Sometimes it's the little things that are decisive, e.g. fresh (still warm), already sliced ​​breakfast rolls or the egg timer that is placed next to the teapot! And one can only praise this café. The concept - preferring to forego the huge selection but instead make everything yourself and tasty - has worked out perfectly and is great! But since everything is on offer from the breakfast menu to the small lunch menu, the (mouthwashing :-)) cakes, the home ice cream and the pralines with regional ingredients, everyone will find something! And all in a room that is well designed, subtly illuminated, decorated but not overloaded. I'm excited!

Great cakes (I already had the pleasure with a redcurrant meringue and Linzer Torte), very tasty drinking chocolate (definitely have a look at the map, there are various) and good coffee. The service was very friendly and the personable boss also looks past the table. I will gladly come again.

Nice little cafe, from the outside very inconspicuous. Very delicious cake. Here the boss still looks past the table himself ... Where is this still? Nice staff and value for money. Unfortunately, dogs are allowed to visit the café, which I do not think fits. Therefore only four stars.

Very nice people, beautiful and ingenious tasting homemade and served by the chef chocolates. He explains each one of them and you realize that he is with passion. Always worth a trip there. But of course there are not only chocolates, but everything a sweet tooth loves to eat.

My father in law introduced us to Herzog. It is the best place to get a cake and have a drink in all of Bad Bergzabern. We cannot leave town without stopping here first. My wife and I enjoy it so much we asked Mr. Meßler to make our wedding cake which can be found in the pictures. We also asked for cupcakes bearing the German and American flags to represent both of our backgrounds and he did not fail to impress!
